JOHN COOPER, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Rev. John Cooper Jr. was born and raised in the Niagara Falls area and graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School. His family has been in Niagara Falls for generations, serving in the military, business community, civic organizations, and the Underground Railroad.
After receiving his bachelor’s degree in pastoral ministry from Clarks Summit University, John served in the United States Army Infantry as a Sniper Section Leader in the 25th Infantry and 10th Mountain Divisions, completing one combat tour of duty in Afghanistan.
Following his military service, John served in military ministry in Watertown, New York, and attended seminary. He and his family returned to Niagara Falls in 2022, and John joined the staff at Niagara Gospel Mission. He became executive director January 1, 2024. “I have a passion for the city of Niagara Falls and its people,” he says. “I believe change in our city happens one soul at a time, starting with those who are most in need. We as Christians must share the light and love of Jesus with the needy here in our backyard. The Lord Jesus Christ died and rose again so every person may come to Him and be saved. We believe that message changes lives, families, and cities.”

Volunteer Coordinator
Donna manages and coordinates all volunteers whether it be an individual, local church, or corporate team. Upcoming projects are matched and coordinated with volunteers. There are many opportunities for the individual or church organization.

Michael Hart
Accounting Manager
Michael is responsible for the day to day accounting functions of the Mission.

Jason Insinna
Emergency Shelter Manager
Jason manages our overnight shelter that houses 25 men who are staying with us until they can find more permanent housing. Jason helps these men connect with the programs they need to get “back on their feet”.

Tom Bullard
Facilities Manager
Tom maintains the day to day needs of the facility and works with volunteers to assist in meeting the needs of keeping the facility in good working order.

Front Desk Manager
Christine is responsible for managing and training our front desk volunteers and staff to represent the love of Christ to the clients, residents, donors, and volunteers that come into our building. If you come to NGM you will be greeted in a way that represents Christ.
