Nights In Shelter

We Have the Power to Impact So Many Lives

Niagara Gospel Mission is committed to making a difference in the City of Niagara Falls, New York, and surrounding communities by meeting the spiritual and practical needs of homeless and hurting men to find help and the support they need to change their lives. We believe that God’s unconditional love can transform any person from the most difficult situation to an abundant life in Jesus Christ. Our services also reach out to the poor and needy in the City of Niagara Falls by offering basic needs such as meals and clothing.

The generosity of our donors and volunteers make it possible to offer our services to the homeless and poor absolutely free of charge.

Hope Through Christ

The Story of hope

We give hope to those who find themselves homeless. Our prgrams provide food, shelter, clothing, transitional services, and faith-based mentorship for people in Niagara County.

Bedbugs are small, reddish-brown blood-sucking, wingless insects. They aren't known to spread disease, but they can cause an allergic reaction or a severe skin reaction in some people.Bedbugs are about the size of an apple seed. They hide in the cracks and crevices of beds, box springs, headboards, bed frames and other objects around a bed and come out at night to feed on their preferred host, humans. The risk of running into bedbugs is higher if you spend time in places where nighttime guests come and go often — such as hotels, hospitals or missions like ours. These critters can survive in almost any temperature which means they are a year-long problem. After a long day of looking for work, the last thing you would want is to come back to your bed and find there are bedbugs. Please pray for these men as they are searching for work and partner with us by giving towards our goal of $4,205.00 to keep our facility bedbug-free all year! Shelter from the cold or the need for a meal may be the first experience for men who are homeless at the Niagara Gospel Mission. During their stay and the experience with our dedicated and loving staff, life changing decisions are made to accept Jesus Christ and plot a new course for their lives. The Niagara Gospel Mission offers a Discipleship Program with up to twelve men that are committed to Bible study, recovery classes, job readiness, learning to live in harmony as a group, and participate in work assignments within the Mission. Upon completion, men can move into the Transitional Living housing or move to independent living. Committed program directors work with each man individually to meet their specific challenges. Men are encouraged to attend a local church for additional support, which has become an extended family to many. If you'd like to help us in this amazing process of healing and growth, check out the many ways you can lend a helping hand!
