TRANSITIONAL HOUSING
Single-Room Transitional Housing Program
The lifestyle change from homelessness to a stable life can be challenging as men seek employment and search for housing with limited resources. Men can apply for our single person furnished resident rooms with shared bathrooms in our facility once they have spent some time in our RECON program. Meals are available as well as access to the clothing closet and laundry facilities within a safe and supportive environment with the goal of living independently.
The Goal of our Transitional Housing Program
This program is designed to be the final bridge at NGM for our residents before they leave us. Residents can be in the THP (Transitional Housing Program) for 3-4 years. During this time our case manager works alongside residents to ensure they are holding down a stable job, getting connected to a local church, and saving money for the future. By the time a resident leaves our THP program the hope is that they are working, members of a local church, prepared to move into a safe apartment, and confident in their ability to fight any future temptations that may come their way.

A Journey of Hope and Healing
Transitional housing is usually temporary and stays can vary. This program is the bridge from homeless to healing and the beginning of walking in faith. If you’d like to help, you can donate toiletries, bedroom furniture, or any monetary amount to support this critical step to recovery.
